Well-Key Knoxville
6606 Knoxville, Knoxville, TN 37912

(Click for details)

Smoky Mountain Urgent Care had a mission: to provide Sevier County’s residents and visitors with comprehensive laboratory testing, digital x-rays, and extended hours every day of the week. Through community involvement, Smoky Mountain’s services eventually grew to include occupational health and workers’ compensation cases. When patients began traveling to the clinic from further and further away, Dr. Rothwell and Dr. Huskey knew they needed to expand to other communities. (The physician partners maintained sole ownership and it is a privately held company to this day.)

As the company reaches out to new neighborhoods and regions, we are evolving into Well-Key Health, a comprehensive network that offers the same exceptional experience created at Smoky Mountain Urgent Care.

Knoxville, TN

Knoxville, Tennessee is often described as a hidden gem. First-time visitors are typically amazed by all this city has to offer. The fact that some of its most appealing attractions are within walking distance of a very vibrant downtown is a plus. Very few places offer the opportunity to experience live music, culture, outdoor adventure, eclectic shopping and highly acclaimed cuisine in one unique location. It’s no wonder that Knoxville was recently named by Trip Advisor as a Top 10 Destination on the Rise. In this one, unique city, mountains meet music, art meets adventure, and culture meets cuisine.

Locals will also tell you that Knoxville enjoys four distinct seasons. This area is famous for fall colors, and Knoxville's proximity to the Smoky Mountains allows you take in all the color without the crowds. Spring is also magnificent, especially during Dogwood season. Winter is typically brief and mild. Summers can get hot, but the city offers a variety of fun ways to stay cool.

Knoxville’s varied and inspiring landscapes offer the perfect spot for any type of outdoor adventure. You won’t have to venture far to find a river for paddling, a forest for hiking, or trail for watching native wildlife. From exciting downhill single-track trails to serene quarry lakes, bubbling mountain streams, or impressive rock outcrops, Knoxville’s varied and inspiring landscapes offer the perfect spot for any type of outdoor adventure. Knoxville’s abandoned quarries are attracting sports climbers looking for exciting routes and the reward of completing the climb. Just a few miles from downtown, an abandoned limestone quarry features a cliff line with moderate grades, solid rock faces, and 12 bolted routes. Nine TVA reservoir lakes in and around Knoxville provide miles of shoreline and waterfront parks. The beautiful Tennessee River that winds through Knoxville begins just east of downtown at the confluence of the French Broad and Holston rivers. These and several other rivers in the region offer unparalleled opportunities for fishing, paddling, whitewater rafting, boating, and swimming.

Knoxville’s nightlife scene offers a variety of diverse and eclectic offerings. Whether you’re in search of a quiet speakeasy, a live music venue or something in between, Knoxville can more than satisfy. Knoxville is one of America’s most vibrant cities for live music. Its rich musical heritage includes A-list country and early rock ’n’ roll stars like Dolly Parton, the Everly Brothers, and Roy Acuff. The city’s complex persona is also reflected in the dazzling, dizzying array of musical offerings available today. In any given week, visitors and locals alike can find first-rate entertainment options throughout the city. Knoxville is home to many art galleries and artist studios, a concentration of which you'll find along Gay Street. This popular stretch is also the site of numerous First Friday celebrations highlighting local artists every month. The city's blocks and countryside overflow with a persona of inspiration for creatives. With a heavy focus on farm-to-table fare,

Knoxville’s unique culinary scene is on the rise thanks to a group of talented chefs. The city’s diverse culinary climate gives its Tennessee neighbors and fellow foodie cities a run for their money. No matter what you’re craving – or hoping to try – Knoxville is serving it up daily in a variety of restaurants that will both surprise and satisfy. Dining options in and around downtown Knoxville are ever-expanding. Many restaurants are within walking distance of some of Knoxville's finest hotels. Additional restaurants, ranging award-winning chef operations to Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives favorites, can be found throughout the city.

Maryville, TN

Maryville, Tennessee is an award-winning community located near the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. The population of Maryville is more than 27,000, and the town encompasses approximately 16 square miles. Maryville is on the cutting edge in many areas of city government, developing and implementing programs to provide a modern, safe, and beautiful place to live and visit.

In Maryville, we take great pride in living in a community that is invested in public education and supports our schools. Maryville City Schools are nationally recognized for its programs, attendance, student achievements, and test scores, which typically exceed national and state-wide norms. The schools also emphasize extra-curricular activities and rate highly in competitions and sports. Performing arts, including one of the largest orchestral music programs in the region, are a priority for our district and a great source of pride and enjoyment for our stakeholders.

Like many downtowns throughout the nation, development of contemporary malls and the proliferation of shopping centers lured businesses and customers away from the downtown area. However, unlike many other downtowns throughout the country that have been lost, dozens of historic structures in downtown Maryville remain and have enjoyed continuous use, or have been rehabilitated more recently.

Currently, Maryville's downtown offers the community and visitors entertainment, office, restaurant, retail, recreation, government, education and religious institutions, medical, and housing opportunities. In addition, the Blount County Library and scheduled community programs further improve the downtown's position in attracting individuals and families throughout the weekdays and weekends. The City and participating community businesses also sponsor numerous events downtown that add to the use and enjoyment of the downtown area.

The Maryville community is home to several beautiful parks that offer safe and fun areas for your family to play, picnic or enjoy the scenery. Maryville Alcoa Greenway, Bicentennial, Amerine, Eagleton, Everett, John Sevier, Pearson Springs, and Sandy Springs parks are among the many your family will appreciate. Maryville lies in the Foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains. The peaceful, gorgeous Smoky Mountains is a perfect place for a family vacation. Just beyond the village of Townsend, to the east of Maryville, is Cades Cove - a broad, verdant valley surrounded by mountains. This beautiful valley is one of the most popular destinations in the Great Smokies. The Townsend area offers many wonderful vacation sites and can serve as a hub for visitors exploring our region.
