Neighborhood Health is a private, non-profit network of primary care clinics and health programs. Neighborhood Health is based in Nashville, Tennessee. Neighborhood residents are community leaders on the Neighborhood Health Board of Directors which remains, as in the beginning, a Board in which the majority are consumers.

For nearly 4 decades, Neighborhood Health has provided convenient, affordable, high quality health care to Middle TN. The caring and dedicated staff of Neighborhood Health, are never far away. Eleven Neighborhood Health locations serve the entire family, offering holistic care: medical care, prenatal care, dental care and emotional care. Care is available when you need it, at convenient hours, with or without an appointment. We accept most insurance and TennCare plans, and we offer a discounted fee for those without health insurance.

Neighborhood Health is the medical home for over 25,000 residents of middle Tennessee.Special clinics target those who are homeless (about 4,000) and recent immigrants and refugees to the city.  Primary populations served are African-American and Hispanic.Over 50% of our patients are uninsured and about 30% have TennCare insurance, Tennessee’s Medicaid insurance. About one-third of those served are children under the age of 18 and a large number of those served are women 18 to 40 years old. Many of the adults have chronic conditions requiring more intensive care coordination. The 120 staff include eight physicians as well twelve family nurse practitioners and physician assistants.  Most of the eleven clinic locations have two or three medical providers, maintaining a neighborhood orientation and an inviting small office atmosphere. Nashville, TN

What sets the Nashville region apart as a great place to live and raise a family? Is it our outstanding quality of life, our famous Southern hospitality, our abundant leisure activities, our temperate climate, or our cosmopolitan vibe? Whatever your reasons for considering a move to Tennessee, we're so excited to welcome you, and we know you'll be glad you chose to call the Nashville area home.

Nashville earned its "Music City" moniker in the 1950s and has maintained its status as a global center of the entertainment industry ever since. The energy and diversity of our local music scene have been praised in publications such as Travel + Leisure, Nylon, SPIN and Rolling Stone.

Music put Nashville on the map, but it's not our only claim to fame. Our entertainment options include two major-league sports teams (Tennessee Titans and Nashville Predators); an extensive public park and greenway system; museums and art galleries; a professional symphony orchestra; opera, ballet and theatre companies; and numerous cultural festivals and events. There's something for everyone to discover.
