WindRose Health Network is a Community Health Center which provides reasonably priced, family-oriented, comprehensive, primary and preventive health services. It strives to serve as a "medical home" for patients — one that emphasizes long-term, holistic approaches to care that include prevention and health promotion. The centers charge affordable fees while offering a "sliding-fee-scale" to consumers with limited financial means and no insurance.  In December of 2003, the Health Centers were awarded a 330 Grant from the Bureau of Primary Health Care and officially became a Federally Qualified Health Center, serving Bartholomew, Brown, Johnson, Marion, Morgan and Shelby Counties.

Only twenty minutes south of Indianapolis, Franklin, located in Johnson County, is an exciting blend of tradition and innovation. Franklin has a rich history, dating back to its founding in 1823. Our downtown boasts traditional main street shops, coffeehouses and restaurants, and the outstanding academic institution of Franklin College. Victorian mansions line King and Jefferson streets, and our trails provide plenty of opportunities for a quiet walk or a scenic jog.

Franklin is also a city on the move. It is home to a state-of-the-art high school, a bustling night life, and nonprofit groups that work hard to advance our quality of life. Our pro-business attitude and strategic location have attracted companies globally, including seven Japanese corporations.

Johnson County, Indiana was recently listed in the Top 8 Places “Where the Middle Class Thrives” by CNNMoney. With desirable amenities, natural beauty and a location in the Hoosier heartland, Johnson County is a growing community comprised of quiet towns, beautiful residential neighborhoods, a diverse business sector, and a strong agribusiness base. Private colleges and major state university campuses are located within minutes of most county residents. Local health care is supported by state-of-the-art facilities in the county, and one of the nation’s largest medical centers is minutes away in downtown Indianapolis.

We are recognized as a competitive business location. Sharing our northern county line with Indianapolis and its extensive interstate highway network, business and industry have easy access to markets throughout North America. The area’s surface transportation system includes seven interstates, and a dozen federal and state highways radiating to all points on the compass. In addition to its favorable transportation network, Johnson County can provide businesses with a well-educated labor force, affordable housing, and “business friendly” tax rates.
