Family Health Care of Northwest Ohio, Inc. provides care to people of all ages and financial situations including low-cost, sliding-fee scale basis (based on household income), almost all types of insurance, Medicare, Medicaid, and self-pay. The health center provides a means for families with limited resources to obtain basic health care.

Van Wert, OH

Van Wert is a city in Ohio and the county seat of Van Wert County. The municipality is located in northwestern Ohio.

A center of peony cultivation, Van Wert has hosted the annual Van Wert Peony Festival on and off since 1902. Van Wert is home to the first county library in the United States, the Brumback Library. It also has a thriving community art center the Wassenberg Art Center and the award-winning Van Wert Civic Theatre.

Van Wert City Schools enrolls 2,027 students in public primary and secondary schools. The district operates 4 public schools including the Early Childhood Center, Van Wert Elementary School, Van Wert Middle School, and Van Wert High School, along with the Goedee building as the Central Administrative Offices.

Children's Garden & Butterfly House garden, located in Smiley Park on the southwest side of Van Wert, provides a hands-on learning facility for the children of Van Wert County. A gazebo is positioned in the center with several theme gardens radiating out from this structure.
