    - This is a travel position visiting nursing and assisted living facilities throughout the SE Indianapolis area. Must be comfortable traveling up to 45 minutes to 1 hour to facilities.
    - Mileage Reimbursement Paid.
    - In this independent role, you will coordinate psychiatric health care for geriatric and adult patients in an outpatient setting.
    - You'll provide evaluation and management of psychotropic medications in accordance with state and federal regulations while establishing positive relationships with team members including families, staff and peer clinicians.
    - Though you would be working autonomously, you would also have the support and collaboration with our Chief Nurse Practitioner and Director of Psychological Services.

    We are actively searching for qualified Clinical Psychologists in the Downtown Indianapolis area to join our team. In this role, you will provide initial evaluations, continuing therapy services, and cognitive testing to an aging population in an extended care environment, including nursing homes and assisted living facilities. You will function with the autonomy of a private practice with an assigned caseload, but with support and collaboration with our Director of Behavioral Health Services, Chief Nurse Practitioner, and Medical Director as well as our in-house scheduling department. You will also form relationships with facility residents, staff and other Vanguard clinicians to facilitate a high level of care of your patients.

Our physicians, at Vanguard Eldercare, through the creation and management of integrated systems of care. Vanguard Eldercare is dedicated to compassionate, state of the art health care for the elderly.

Our team brings geriatrics, neurology, rehabilitation medicine, pain medicine, psychiatry, wound management and psychology directly to the patient. All Vanguard Eldercare clinicians have special training in the care of the chronically ill and frail elderly. All Vanguard’s clinical specialists use our advanced care guidelines to assure that patients receive the highest standard of care.

Our skilled professionals will also communicate closely with family and other caregivers to reassure everyone that the patient is getting the best care possible. Further, our nurses will also manage the patient’s transition back to their residence to create the easiest transition for family and caregivers.
