At United Hospital District, we exist to provide and promote appropriate health care to the communities we serve, doing so in a safe and healing environment which supports our patient-centered care philosophy.
Although United Hospital District (UHD) has been in existence as a district hospital under Minnesota statutes since 1966, the history of the organization has been traced back as far as 1886.
Patient-centered care is the core of United Hospital District. We treat all our patients with respect and dignity and involve them as a team member in their plan of care in each of our locations. We constantly strive to provide better patient care by working as a team to create a healing environment that is of value of our patients.
