The Center’s physician’s and professional staff include family and internal medicine, geriatrics, pediatrics, psychiatry, gynecology, dentistry, medication assistance, medical nutrition, clinical social work, substance abuse counseling, complex care mgmt. and health education. Sterling Area Health Center is a BCBS recognized Patient-Centered Medical Home and is accredited as a PCMH by The Joint Commission. The Patient-Centered Medical Home (PCMH) is an approach to providing comprehensive care for children, youth, adults and the elderly.

The PCMH is a health care setting that facilitates partnerships between individual patients, (and when appropriate their family) and their personal health care provider.

Hale, MI

Hale is located in Lower Northeastern Michigan. We are located in Iosco County, within Plainfield Township about 20 miles inland from Lake Huron. The population of our town is 4,292. We have numerous lakes in Hale which make our town very popular with tourists & boaters in the summer months.

Hale is located about 30 miles west of Oscoda on the Lake Huron side. We have numerous lakes, ponds and streams and the Au Sable River offering some of the best freshwater fishing in the nation. We are the gateway to the Huron National Forest. Winter sports enthusiasts have great opportunities for cross-country skiing and snowshoeing. The River Road Scenic By-Way is one of the most beautiful rides you will ever take in the fall.
