For 36 years, South Central Family Health Center (SCFHC) has played a major role in filling the void for comprehensive health services in the historically underserved and uninsured population of South Los Angeles. The services provided directly address healthcare issues prevalent among geographically and economically disadvantaged individuals and families.
Since its inception, SCFHC has been in the forefront committed to addressing healthcare disparities in a competent and linguistically appropriate manner. SCFHC has more than 184 staff members of which 28 are clinicians who provide direct medical services, treatment, and care to patients.
The Huntington Park area lies just south of the greater LA area on Highway 110 and Highway 710. The area is home to a wide variety of entertainment options and festivals, making it a prime location for enjoying everything LA has to offer. Huntington Park is culturally diverse and rich in history. The community focuses on historic preservation and takes pride in its roots while embracing growth and nurturing an up-and-coming arts scene.
