    - Previous leadership experience is required. Medical director and medication-assisted treatment experience a plus but not required.
    - The ideal candidate will have strong leadership experience and the ability to make independent decisions within established policies and procedures.
    - The medical director schedule will be 50% administrative and 50% clinical.
    - The current vacancy is at the Santa Cruz Emeline Clinic overseeing a staff of 10 physician and midlevel providers. The clinic is currently undergoing 100% renovation.
    - This clinic is a dynamic integrated health setting serving vulnerable populations in Santa Cruz County.
    - Santa Cruz is a beautiful coastal community with a Mediterranean climate and excellent quality of life.
