UVMC is affiliated with Premier Health, the largest health care system in Southwest Ohio and the second largest employer in the greater Dayton area. Upper Valley Medical Center is situated on a beautiful 130-acre campus directly off Interstate 75. We are conveniently located 25 miles north of Dayton and within an hour’s drive to Columbus and Cincinnati and within 15 minutes to the Dayton International Airport.
Within the past few years, Upper Valley Medical Center has significantly expanded our Cancer Care Center, doubled the size of our medical office building, opened an inpatient Hospice Unit and a state of the art Wound Care Center. In addition, we recently expanded our Emergency Department and opened a Level II Cath Lab!
Residents of Miami County appreciate the friendliness, security, diverse activities and civic involvement of a smaller community while taking advantage of additional cultural and professional sporting events in nearby Cincinnati, Columbus, and Dayton. Abounding in historic attractions, Miami County is a site for numerous parks and golf courses, an indoor ice arena, cultural centers, two country clubs, and a wildlife preserve.

There are many educational options in Miami County including excellent public schools, parochial schools, a Montessori School (ages 3-12), and a Christian school (preschool through high school). Sixteen colleges and universities are also located nearby, including Wright State University School of Medicine in Dayton, where many Upper Valley Medical Center physicians hold faculty appointments.
