Oakhurst Medical Center is a community based, not for profit, primary health care center. Since 1980, we have been providing quality, affordable, culturally sensitive and accessible healthcare to the residents of DeKalb County. We also serve Fulton County and Rockdale County residents as well. We are ordinary people who are committed to the mission of improving the quality of life in the communities we serve with a special focus on healthcare needs of the medically indigent and underinsured. Our goal remains to improve the health status and quality of life in the communities we serve by providing healthcare services one home at a time.
As a “one-stop shop for patients”, Oakhurst provides a complete array of primary health care services for all of the life cycles inclusive of Adult Medicine/Family Medicine, Pediatrics/Adolescent Health, Women’s Health, OB/GYN, Family Planning, Foot Care/Podiatry, Behavioral Health, Infectious Disease, Gastroenterology and Dental.
Oakhurst Medical Centers is accredited by The Joint Commission (since 2002), achieved Patient Centered Medical Home level 3 recognition by the National Committee for Quality Assurance (since 2017), and we are an active member of the National Association of Community Health Centers and the Georgia Primary Care Association.

The Arabia Mountain National Heritage Area encompasses over 40,000 acres and offers visitors natural wonders, compelling history and includes Davidson-Arabia Mountain Nature Preserve and Panola Mountain State Park. The rare, native plant species, such as the signature red diamorpha in the winter and fall's yellow daisies, make it seem as though the rock is in constant metamorphosis.
