Our organization was founded by concerned residents in the early 1970s to address the severe shortage of primary care in our area. We are still run by a local volunteer board of directors, helping to ensure that our services meet the community's needs.
We believe that quality healthcare is a right and should be provided to all people regardless of age, sex, race or financial status. We treat patients and visitors with respect, dignity, and confidentiality. We also emphasize personalized, family-oriented care and will coordinate medical services to help you receive timely, consistent follow-up for all your health care needs, including physical, mental and emotional needs.
We also partner with schools in Houghton Lake and Roscommon, Michigan to provide school-based health centers.
