Galen Health, an urgent and primary care services model owned and operated by Bravura Health & Wellness, provides access to convenient ambulatory medical services for the community (retail, direct-to-consumer) and local employers (MetaClinic model).
Galen Health is opening a new facility in Piqua, Ohio and is expected to be in full operation beginning September 2018. Successful candidates will begin employment no less than 30 days prior to the opening.
The unique MetaClinic model integrates seamlessly with the community model and combines scheduled visits (at no cost and no insurance claims) for employees and dependents of self-funded employer groups looking for a higher quality primary care visit while leveraging Bravura Health & Wellness “accountability partner” services to support wellness and chronic care management to the employer.
The direct-to-consumer model is a subscription-based model to members who receive their primary care services on a scheduled basis without using insurance.
The retail model provides the typical retail walk-in urgent care services to individuals having commercial insurance coverage or elect to receive cash-based services.
At Galen Health, physicians and advanced practitioners work together to provide a full range of primary care services – not just a limited list of acute conditions that one might find at a typical retail urgent care center.
