The Erie County Health Department/Erie County Community Health Center is a public entity Federally Qualified Health Center located in Sandusky, Ohio and serves residents of the communities in Erie and surrounding counties. The Erie County Community Health Center (ECCHC) is a multi-specialty health center providing comprehensive medical, dental and behavioral health services including Primary Care, Pediatrics, Obstetrics/Gynecology, Oral Health, Chiropractic, Mental Health/Behavioral Health, Medication Assisted Treatment, Immunizations/Travel Vaccines. The ECCHC was recognized by the Health Resources and Services Administration as a Health Center Quality Leader, placing in the top 30 percent of the rankings for Clinical Quality Measures nationwide. The ECCHC is recognized by the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) as a patient-centered medical home. The Erie County Health Department is an accredited Public Health Department by the Public Health Accreditation Board.
