EliteHealth MSO was started seven years ago out of the need to survive in a changing healthcare environment. For twenty years prior to this, we ran a thriving cardiology practice. But with decreasing reimbursements and increasing costs, we realized our model was no longer sustainable. We knew the answer was not seeing more patients, because the quality of care would suffer. We also valued our independence too much to become employees of a hospital or an insurance company.

Instead, we decided to transform our business model. We started an MSO (Management Service Organization) with a Medicare Advantage focus, converting our existing Medicare patients to Medicare Advantage plans and enrolling new patients through a large managed health care company.

We quickly realized that by getting paid on your fee-for-value business model was a more sustainable model that a fee-for-service model. We now have thousands of patients and the MSO model has provided us with a financial freedom to practice the highest quality of care on our own terms. Being paid for patient outcomes rather than fee-for-service inspires us to deliver the most effective and efficient care which includes a proactive emphasis on wellness. Our patients are more satisfied and so are we.

Sarasota is a city by the Gulf of Mexico with arts, dining, nightlife and more.

The city of Sarasota is a scene of eateries, theaters, shopping boutiques, and artist enclaves. Running through the heart of downtown is Main Street, and branching off this main drag are colorfully named streets such as Pineapple, Orange, Lemon, and Palm. More shops and colorful bungalows turned into bakeries, galleries, salons and yoga studios surround central downtown and are divided into five districts: Burns Court, Towles Court, Rosemary District, Historic Palm Avenue, and Gillespie Park. Even more is waiting to be discovered at Bayfront Park, Southside Village, and other nearby locales.

Warm temperatures year-round, award-winning beaches and a thriving art and cultural scene have made Sarasota a great place to live. With downtown providing the dynamic heartbeat, this is a community with an abundance of outdoor activities both on the water and on land. Residents and visitors enjoy fishing, sailing, swimming, kayaking, and boating, and the indoor activities range from museums and galleries to shows and the opera. Our southwest Florida region is about an hour from Tampa and two hours from Orlando.
