Incorporated in 1982, Central North Alabama Health Services, Inc. (CNAHSI) is a nonprofit organization providing a variety of primary healthcare services primarily to residents of Madison, Limestone, and Morgan counties. 

Our Health Care System is one of the few multi-service out-patient primary care group practices in North Alabama that is Joint Commission Accredited and Patient-Centered Medical Home certified. We are committed to the delivery of quality healthcare services (Patient satisfaction and retention) to patients regardless of race, ethnicity, creed, religion or income. Over the past 36 years, we have provided services to over 2 million patient visits. 

Our Health Care System includes 4 primary healthcare clinics (Huntsville Family Health Center, Athens Family Health Center, Eva Family Health Center and New Market Clinic) connected electronically using one Electronic Health Record and Practice Management System. We also have an Urgent Care Center and a Home Health Agency. Our Corporate Office is located in Huntsville, Alabama. 

  • Huntsville Family Health Center (HFHC):  HFHC, a 28,000 sq. ft. medical facility is our flagship health center strategically located in Huntsville less than 2 miles from Huntsville Hospital and less than 5 miles from Crestwood Medical Center. Services offered at HFHC include Pediatric/Adolescent Medicine, Adult Medicine, Women’s Health, Behavioral Health, Referrals to Specialty services, Preventative Dentistry, On-site Pharmacy, On-site Laboratory, and other screening and ancillary services. At HFHC we provide access to care for over 22,000 patients annually. HFHC, a primary care group practice, has the capacity for 12 medical providers (physicians and mid-levels).

Plans for this site include a new facility with capacity for 3 medical providers and 1 dental provider.
