Close to 40,000 people currently live in Clinton County. Lock Haven, the County’s only city, measures 2.6 square miles and is the most densely populated municipality, with approximately 9,700 residents. Seven Boroughs and twenty-one Townships, all of varying sizes and populations, mesh together to fill out the rest of the county.

We’ve got the great outdoors – more than 60 percent of the County is state land, available for public use. The region boasts a network of trails, state parks, forests, and game lands, the Susquehanna River, streams and lakes. You can also enjoy sights and attractions ranging from breath-taking overlooks to shopping for Amish and “English” handcrafted items, to local festivals, historical sites, a local barn theatre featuring professional actors, and outdoor concerts every weekend all summer long!
