The 60,000 square foot Ardmore Clinic opened in August 2012. This outpatient clinic includes a generous number of exam rooms and office space for multiple teams of primary care providers. It also includes a 15 chair dental clinic, optometry clinic, behavioral health services, outpatient physical therapy, lab and pharmacy. The clinic sits on a campus including a wellness facility, available at no cost to employees and their families. The architecture is a clean, functional and simple design with an exterior that complements the other health department sites.

Located just one hour south of the Chickasaw Nation Medical Center, patients who need a referral to one of the specialty services are in close proximity. A specialized team from the Diabetes Center rotates one day each week to each of the satellite clinics, including the Ardmore Clinic.

Ardmore, OK

Ardmore offers a variety of activities for the outdoor enthusiast, the shopper, or the historian. The city offers more than 900 lodging rooms ranging from the traditional hotel/motel to a guest ranch, a nationally recognized bed and breakfast and even floating villas! Located equidistant between the Dallas/Ft. Worth metro area and Oklahoma City, Ardmore is less than 90 minutes away from the big cities via I-35.

The dining experience in Ardmore allows you to choose from a variety of cuisines and atmospheres that match your mood. From local mom and pop establishments with a true down-home feel to gourmet cuisine, there is an establishment to meet your every need.

History is not left out of the mix of attractions in Ardmore. A walking tour of downtown Ardmore will excite the history buff as both the Carter County Courthouse and Ardmore Main Street are among sites listed on the National Registry of Historical Places. The Carter County Courthouse, completed in 1910, features a dome which is unique to only two other counties in Oklahoma. The Greater Southwest Historical Museum depicts life in Ardmore as it was during the turn of the century. The museum also contains a military annex housing memorabilia from the American Revolution through the current action in Operation Iraqi Freedom. The Ardmore Public Library is home to the Eliza Cruce Hall Doll Museum, where numerous dolls once belonging to a niece of former Governor Lee Cruce, are on display.

Downtown Ardmore is alive, and a stroll down historic Main Street will be a true adventure for all shoppers! Shopping begins on West Broadway and continues through historic downtown and up Commerce to Mountain View Mall. Don't forget the chic shops that now dot our community along the side streets adjacent to Broadway and Main. Other areas to shop in Ardmore include Commerce Street, Tiffany Plaza (on West Broadway), Broadlawn Shopping Center on Maxwell and the shops on Grand Avenue and Merrick Drive.
 

Chickasaw Nation Health Clinic - Purcell

The original Purcell Clinic facility was approximately 13,000 square feet and opened in 2004.  An expansion began in 2016 to increase the square footage to 23,000, creating space for new services.  Set to open in August 2017, the Purcell Clinic will provide services in Family Medicine, Pediatrics, Medical Family Therapy, Behavioral Health, Nutrition, Physical Therapy, Dentistry, and Optometry.  Support services will include Lab, Pharmacy, and Imaging.  In addition, we have floating clinics that cycle through all satellite facilities once a month for Women’s Health, Diabetes and Endocrinology, Internal Medicine, Rheumatology, and Audiology.

The Medical Clinic has a total of 16 exam rooms with 4 of those being procedure rooms.  The dental area has 9 chairs.  A Wellness Center is located just steps from the clinic and is free to use by all employees.  It includes an inside pool and weights.

Purcell is located 12 miles south of Norman, home of the University of Oklahoma, and 30 minutes south of Oklahoma City, home of the OKC Thunder NBA Basketball team.  So shopping and all the big city amenities are in close proximity to Purcell.  The Bricktown area is a vibrant area with unique restaurants, movie theater, galleries, Bricktown Baseball Park and a Riverwalk that includes boat tours and incredible larger-than-life statues depicting the Oklahoma land run.

The Chickasaw Nation Medical Center opened in July 2010. This 370,000 square foot state-of-the-art facility has 72 beds, 33 dental chairs and houses new MRI and CT Scanning technology.

The Chickasaw Nation Department of Health is a tribal program consisting of one hospital in Ada and three satellite health clinics located in Ardmore, Purcell and Tishomingo, Oklahoma. In Ada our health system facilities include a medical/surgical hospital, outpatient primary care clinics, outpatient physical therapy, office of environmental health and wellness program facilities which include the Family Life Center available at no charge to all employees and their families. All satellite clinics are within one hour drive of the hospital and refer to specialists in Ada when needed. All facilities are Joint Commission accredited.

The health department has allopathic and osteopathic physicians and an optometry clinic staffed with clinical residency-trained optometrists. We have an award-winning Diabetes Program housed in a new Diabetes Center, an audiology department that provides services and hearing aids to our patients and dental services that include general dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics, and pedodontics. We work closely with the Oklahoma University Health Sciences Center and participate in grant projects and research projects such as the Today Program for Childhood Diabetes. We have all ancillary services normally within a hospital. Our pharmacists are all PharmD grads and serve as part of the healthcare team working closely to assist our providers.
