Wailuku is one of Maui’s most cherished towns. Enhancing its unique character and sense of place is its historic landmarks, charming mosaic of shops, quaint boutiques, inviting eateries and cafes, and theater and performing arts. There is a myriad of businesses, government offices, schools, and churches. It’s a community of theater enthusiasts, art lovers, and partygoers. But, most of all, it’s a place where local families have lived for generations.

Nestled beneath the green West Maui Mountains – Mauna Kahalawai (“holding house of water”), Old Wailuku Town boasts a rich, historic past and a promising, prosperous future as an exciting revitalization project moves forward.

Maui, known also as “The Valley Isle,” is the second-largest Hawaiian island. The island beloved for its world-famous beaches, the sacred Iao Valley, views of migrating humpback whales (during winter months), farm-to-table cuisine and the magnificent sunrise and sunset from Haleakala. It’s not surprising Maui has been voted "Best Island in the U.S." by Condé Nast Traveler readers for more than 20 years.
