Since 1926, Cameron Memorial Community Hospital has provided quality healthcare to residents of northeast Indiana, southern Michigan, and northwest Ohio. Located in Steuben County, Indiana, Cameron is a 25-bed critical access hospital providing a variety of services including emergency care, imaging services, maternity care, rehabilitation, and surgical care.
In 2014, Cameron leadership was proud to open a brand new replacement hospital that features:
- All private patient rooms
- Three large, fully-equipped operating rooms
- Convenient access to rehabilitation services, with a 3,000 square-foot gym and therapeutic pool
- Three labor, delivery, and recovery rooms, in addition to five private, family-friendly rooms for maternity patients
- The latest in imaging services, including a dedicated women’s center

Steuben County, IN
Steuben County is nestled in the Northeastern corner of Indiana bordering Michigan and Ohio. The county has long been known for its 101 natural lakes making it a vacation wonderland. Dubbed as Northern Indiana Lakes Country, residents and non-residents alike can enjoy many abundant recreational activities including Indiana’s only refrigerated toboggan at Pokagon State Park. The 1,260-acre park on Lake James has hiking trails, camping, a nature center, boat rentals, and the 137 room Potawatomi Inn.

In 2016 the Angola and Fremont communities partnered with the Northeast Indiana Regional Partnership to win one of the State of Indiana’s Regional Cities designations which also placed our area in the top 15 communities nationwide. Because of this designation, our community was given a financial reward that will bring our community the Steel Dynamics indoor skating arena in the fall of 2017.
